According to Shams Charania, who first reported the news on Twitter, Flagg and the Mavericks are aligned on the prospect’s arrival as the top pick. The team does not plan to host any additional pre-draft visits for other prospects, signaling their strong commitment to selecting Flagg once Commissioner Adam Silver announces their pick at the draft’s opening.
Marc Stein also confirmed the visit, noting that the Mavericks have made clear both publicly and privately their intention to draft Flagg, who is anticipated to immediately take on a significant role. Joining Dallas gives Flagg a prime opportunity to contribute to a roster with multiple veterans poised to contend for a playoff berth.
